This page explains what Shared collects and why. In short: what we need to run your links and show you stats, and nothing more.
Your account
Your email, name, a hashed password, and the links and settings you create. If you pay, Stripe handles your card details; we never see them.
People who click your links
For each click we record the time, the approximate place (country, region and city, worked out from the IP address, which isn't stored), the type of device, operating system, browser and the site the click came from. Unique visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so the same person can't be followed across days. We don't set tracking cookies on visitors.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. Opening a password-protected link sets a short-lived cookie so you don't have to enter the password again.
How long we keep things
Click details are kept as long as your plan's stats history. Deleting a link deletes its clicks; deleting your account deletes everything. You can download all your data from Settings.
